(bottle) pours a murky golden-orange colour with a dense, creamy off-white head. aroma of wheat and lots of yeast, with light notes of powdered sugar, cardboard and pineapple. flavour is quite sweet, with lots of caramel, wort, toffee and again pineapples. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. too heavy and sweet.

Plastic Bottle 50cl shared at a tasting, thanks Naam, pours an hazy yellow with some orange taints and a medium head, aroma of banana, apple, lemon and a touch of cinnamon, flavor is clean and simple with some lemon, apple, banana and wheat, light bodied, OK

Plastic bottle at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum and some more fruity esters. Sweetish wheaty flavor with a bit of bready notes, yeast and fruit esters and a slightly drier finish. Light-bodied. Refreshing.

Das Bier riecht überaus hefig, kaum fruchtig. Der Antrunk bestätigt das, sehr hefig, nicht fruchtig. So geht’s im Mittelteil weiter, der Nachgeschmack zeigt sich genauso: hefig, nicht fruchtig, nicht säuerlich. Langweilig isses ja schon... Test vom 22.7.2006, Gebinde: PET Noten: 8,6,10,6,8,7 - 7,30

27 cent 500ml plastic brown twist-off bottle. Best before: 29.08.11. It pours a golden peach color with a foamy white head. It doesn’t have much cloudiness. The smell is jam-packed with clove and banana, it is a blunt aroma but there is a decent amount of it which is surprising. The flavor is a bit waterier with a huge prickling carbonation that kind of gets in the way. It is biscuity and wheaty with a hefty amount of clovey spice. The banana and sweetness aren’t as pronounced in the flavor. It isn’t an all-star Hefeweizen but for the price it isn’t what yo would expect.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, malt, and bananas. The flavor is sweet with notes of matl, wheat, and bananas, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

PET-bottle. Cloudy yellow colour with an okay head. Banana estery compote aroma along with slight phenols. The aroma is overall full-ish. Flavourwise a bit light in mouthfeel but not terribly so. There are the usual suspects - like good Co2, expected esters and light phenols (such as tin) but not much. Flavourful beer but short finish.

bottle from papsoe hazy dark orange, smooth white head. fruity aroma, wheat and peach dominate. flavor is faint fruity, but also slightly bitter, it’s like the beer is too weak for the alc% to not shine through.
