Karlsquell Negra

Murcian import courtesy of big JW. This one wriggled from the carrier bag and bounced across the carpark tarmac, but barely hissed when I pulled the ringpull. Almost pitch with ruby edges and a tan halo. Sweet bready aroma spread thinly with Marmite. Treacley malt extract sweetness, metal, faint burnt toast, watery gravy granule beefiness, too much caramel, a gnaw of cardboard. Overly sweet and typically Iberian take on a dark lager.
