Bottle, from Gastronomia Fiorelli, Cartoceto, bb 02.2012
Cloudy amber color; small head. Mediocre aroma, some yeast, earth and dust. Good body strength and smooth mouthfeel; but the flavor is off, nothing special, medium malt, with rare fruity traces, soil, light yeast; correct bitterness.
I just wish somebody would brew a good straight beer and stop throwing random things in.

Keg (Bir & Fud, Rome)
Slightly yeasty belgian ale aroma. Carbonation low. Sharp fruity retronasals - apple. Yeast taste, a touch earthy. Sharp too. Odd and hard to judge. Quite farmhousy. Not pressing my ’beer’ button. As it warms more, the retronasals are packed full of grapes, I don’t know how I missed them before.

Aroma vinous, tart character, hint of alcohol, hint of amber malt.
Appearance brisk, carbonated red brown ale. Mid creamy yellowish tinted top.
Flavor and Palate : Medium light bodied , slight tartness , malty with vinous hints. Lighter finish. Different and refreshing.
