On tap Weisses Brauhaus, München Very nice dunkel. Creamy rich malty head and aroma. Nice dark color with good clarity. Great taste, very smooth. One that I could drink quite a bit of.

full homebrow dark malt aroma, like when you are bottling the stuff. deep amber. quite tangy with roasted plum and anchovies interrupted by brown sugar. aroma starts to go rotten. flavour ends up as chicken marinade. tasty stuff

Fin (7701) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2008
Draught at Weisses Brauhaus, Munchen, Germany, 25-01-08 but called Brau Girgl Dunkel Dark brown with an off-white clingy head, actually on reflection more mid to dark brown in colour. Nutty tasting some hazelnut’s, soft mouthfeel, bitterness sits towards the back along with a touch of sourness. Quite hard to try this after the Eisbock but still I found this a very nice beer.

Bottle. Blackish brown beer with a strong fizzy head. The aroma is yeasty and roasted, and the flavour is bitter and roasted with a yeasty finish. Overall an ok yeasty and roasted dunkel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Hazy brown pour with a fluffy, bubbly light tan head. Nose is grainy, a bit milky, with some metal notes and a dry nuttiness. Taste has some mineral notes, a bit watery, with some dark bread graininess. Dry and nutty, with just a touch of metal on the finish. I’m not describing it glowingly, but it’s fairly flavorful and pretty smooth. A bit watery in the mouth, with medium carbonation. Not bad.
