Grima (2072) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2011
In the glass pours a dark brown and ruby red with pearly brown head. Smells malty sweet and sticky, subtle roasty, reminds very much of a german Malzbier. Starts bitter roasted malty with a pleasant hop aroma, and a dominant bready aroma! The middle part is also very bready, some roasted malts are noticeable, bitter, paired with a sweet aroma. In the finish again bready, with a slight hop bitterness in the background.
