--> merkwürdiges Dunkel!

Copper color. Light aroma of lager yeast. Dry grain flavor, some taste of nuts and wood.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - JAN 23, 2012
Copper color, slightly sweet beer with a very thin and weak foam. The scent is also weak and smells a bit of fur, wool or even goat. The taste is pretty much at a Danish industrial classic, but with a little more depth and long aftertaste.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small and off-white head. Aroma is roasted breadish. Slight peppery spiced flavoured, dry malty - a bit flat. Light bitterness into a dry roasted malt finish.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice amber color. Nice sweet malt nose with a hint of hops. Taste is caramel, with mild hops and a touch of fruit.

Bottle: Presumably copper coloured with a medium-sized fluffy off-white head, that slowly collapses; relatively dry malty nose with a nutty touch; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied but quite soft; becomes a bit drier in the caramelly and nutty finish, that is followed by a light hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing to complain......

Bottle. Caramel malt and orange aroma. Copper color with moderate head. Slightly sweet caramel malt and bitter grass hops flavor. Nicely blended. Nice mixture of malt and hops - quite nice.

Bottle, thank Pivnizub. Amber, golden head. Light metallic straw aroma. Caramel base, grassy hop counterpoint. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel, lacks the velvet quality I associate with a good vienna. Quick finish. Pretty uneventfull.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. Poor malt profile. Hints of boiled vegetables, diacetyl, chestnut and a huge amount of raisin. Very low bitterness. Not my kind of beer. Thanks a lot pivnizub!

MoritzF (8676) - GERMANY - NOV 29, 2009
(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet and sour doughy nose with notes of cara-malts, draff and diacetyl. Sweet and minimal bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty and doughy taste with draff and sweat; sweet and lasting metallic finish. Absolutely disappointing by Franconian standarts. 23.XI.09
