2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
400 ml bottle. Crystal clear mahogany colour. No head, only very small bubbles around the edges. Light caramelly aroma with roasted notes. Sweetish münchenermalt flavours that gets balanced by a crisp carbonation bite and a gentle hop bitterness. A thirst quencher. Reminds me a lot of Norwegian vørterøl (literally ’wort beer’).

0.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
40cl bottle from a Polish shop in Slough. The initial impression on pouring is that this is a cola drink - but the colour is slightly redder in hue. Once tasted it clearly isn’t cola - it’s a sweet and fizzy malt-based soft drink. I can see nothing to comend it.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Malty aroma. the flavour is malt, plus tons of sugar. Soft drinks are usually balancing the sugar with som acid, not here. Ugh.
