1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bought a bottle of this at a local Polish grocer, has a dark brown pour (it is a ruby when held up to a light) with some off-white bubbles, gave a small head and the bubbles surrendered to a ring quickly, I could get more of a head if I swirled the glass, aromas of old, stale malt and nuts, beans? has a muted burnt malt fragrance, some licorice, burnt sweet molasses flavor with some extra sweetness on top of that, a bit of bitterness at the finish but the before flavor is sort of horrid and it is hard to imagine any finish or aftertaste that would benefit this beer, the burnt and stale malt and beans I smelled earlier carried over into the flavors, this stuff is bad, I cannot drink this, it is awful, has a medium mouth feel along with some syrupiness, I took a few more sips to be sure this stuff stinks, yup, it stinks and is lousy, about the only thing positive is how it looks.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle: Pours a dark amber color with no head. The aroma is sweet with vanilla and caramel, lots of sugary notes. The flavor is very sweet like jaggery. Eh. Too sweet.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are sweet molasses and malt. Kinda like a danish ’’hvidtøl’’.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle transparent, 400 ml, contains additional sugar.
Appearance: Pours deep and pure (clear) in texture brownish - red, intense body colour, carbonation of the body is like of a fizzy drink, beer quickly decarbonates, head is initially medium, slowly decreasing to small, off - white, cappuccino like in colour, leaving an impressive lacing, firm and lasting for a very long time what is great positive about appearance.
Aroma: Weak, ashy, notes of rotten egg and toilet water, some strange toastyness reminding a bit burned or toasted rice, white sugar additional sweetness, gentle notes of watered down poor quality coffee, some gentle notes of cappuccino and whipped cream.
Flavour: Strickingly this beer is exactly the same as ’Okocim Palone’ but what is different here is that it is too much dominated with a great load of sweetness, notes of ash and burned malt but still watered down.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is sticky sweet, carbonation on palate is mild, finish feel is a bit sticky and flat.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle - 400ml. Dark brown body topped with an average beige foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with some oaky hints. Its thin taste carries brown sugar notes. Ends with a short sweet finish. Not impressive.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
400ml bottle. Pours a thick opaque colour with no head. Kind of looks like a coke. Smells malty and burnt. Ew. Palate is flat and watery, with a hint of fizziness. Taste is malty, with notes of nuts and caramel. Might be better if I wanted a soda.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Ciemne bezalkoholowe - prawie, karmi smakuje jak napój piwny. Chociaż ładnie bąbelki lecą z kufla i piana się robi spora i utrzymuje się dłużej. Średnio mi pasuje.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
40 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a golden reddish hue and a lacing white head. Roasted malt aroma. Sweet sugarish and malty flavour. Ends with a mild sweetness and a roasted malt flavour. Very much like a Danish hvidtøl.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
(Bottle 40 cl) Courtesy of faroeviking. Clear, reddish brown with a small, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of burned caramel. Light in body with burned caramel accents and a little low in carbonation. No bitterness. Presumably this is recommended for breastfeeding Polish mothers... 171207

(Bottle 33 cl) A Polish low alcohol with caramel sounds like kind of a scary thought, but then it’s neat to be pleasantly surprised. Clear, dark brown with a warm, reddish glow and a creamy, beige coloured head. Sweetish, lightly smoked flavours with notes of roasted malt and caramel. Basically this is what we call a "hvidtøl" (table beer) in Denmark and a rather pleasant one of it’s sort. If any artificial sweeteners are added I don’t detect them. 081005
