Clear light to medium red brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

Jun 10, 2008 Bottle @ Maria tasting. Coper colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, licorice, caramel. Flavour is sweet, licorice, caramel, malt. Quite nice beer.

May 25, 2008 Bottle, thx to Maria. It pours a well-carbonated, reddish copper body with a nice, dense, creamy beige head. It’s slightly sourish on the nose, with caramel sweetness and soy sauce. Sweet, malty and roasted flavor, more or less sugary sweet, with a little spicy touch and some sourness in the background. Full-bodied, fizzy, warming and a bit sticky. The finish is sweet and lasting. Quite nice one, even though it’s not the most true to styke stout I’ve had. (080412)
Maria (3963), Thisted, Denmark
Apr 16, 2008 Courtesy of Bierkoning. Dark, red-brown with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, licorice and candy sugar. The flavour has sweetness, notes of licorice, slightly burnt candy sugar, light alcohol and the finish is slightly dry. It has a nice body, bit it’s not what I connect with a stout.

Apr 15, 2008 Deep brown of color with a brown head. An aroma of candis, sweets, caramel and molasse. A flavor of sweets, prunes, alcohol and roasted hints.
