3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
on tap @ Humpy’s / Anchorage Ak --- Hazy light golden amber color, white head cover, cobwebs of lace. Taste is brisk, somewhat bitter malt that moves with no change to a swallow full of carbonation and medium pine hops. An easy-going blonde on steroids that somehow works anyway.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance is a light golden yellow colored body with a one and a half finger white foamy head, with some clingy lacing.
The smell is grassy, grainy and a little bit of sweet corn, just a little spicy.
The taste has a light grassy/graininess, sweet aftertaste, sticky finish.
The palate is light, sessionable, carbonation seems adequate for the style - nothing sharp, nothing watery and nothing spectacular.
Overall, nothing spectacular, but nothing bad, would I have it again, perhaps depending what else was served, just another American Blonde Ale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy blond body with a small frothy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is slightly vegetal smelling with a bit of pale malt and some light dough. The flavor is fairly bland with just some light doughy malt and a slightly vegetal finish. Light bodied and a bit sticky on the back end. Soft fizzy carbonation. Not the best, this one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours to a golden body with a white head. Aroma is bready and has a light noble hop. The flavor is biscuits with some light noble hops. Very bready. There is a light metallicness. The palate, besides the metallicness is medium bodied and clean.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Thanks to Blake and Jenny for sharing! Poured lighter golden with a well-retained beige head. The aroma picked up toasted pale and bready malts with grass and light metallic accents. The flavor found pale malts at the core with a lot of metallic character and lightly-peppered grass around.. back to the metal on the finish. Tangy and metallic on the palate.. not a good feel or an enjoyable drink.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Dirty straw, fairly hazy, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Pale bready aroma, even a faint bit of wheatiness.   I might think this was an American Wheat based on the look and aroma.   Wheaty and straw on the tongue, light sweetness, a touch dry.   Had it been clearer and without the wheaty aspect, I might think Golden Ale.   However, its not bright.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes clean, with a soft wheat aspect.   Faint buttery straw/hay on the exit.   Yeah, seems more in line with an American Wheat than a Golden Ale.   Tiz alright.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bomber pours a pale golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that settles down to leave some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild but pleasant with some grains and citrus. Taste is a grainy malt sweetness with some light citrus hop bitterness and a dry finish. Light to medium body with good carbonation. A full flavored blonde ale that is recommended.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, faint grainy malt. In mouth, a lightly grainy mouth, with faint German hops, very mundane. On tap at Humpy’s Oct. 9 2011.
