22. Pours a hazy dark amber with bright edges. Dense, creamy, gigantic tan head. Mild brown bread nose. Flabby medium body, soft carb. Toasty brown bread and caramel mid palate. Seriously smells and tastes like they forgot the hops on this one. Mild bready finish.

Bottle. Thanks Jason! Classic amber visuals, well carbonated and lightly headed. The aroma is all-American, too ... caramel, and (forgive me) wet Labrador Retriever (I love it). Drinking this beer during the momentous Tim Tebow OT win in the playoffs ... YGBSM!! (PS, good beer). (#4440, 1/8/2012)
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Bottle: Dirty amber, darker, large finely bubbled head, nice lacing. Musty hop aroma, a little dank. Smells english. Slight earthy/soily notes, perhaps a little grainy. Muted hops up front, soft mealy/grainy malt background. Pretty mediocre, but not bad. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Clean finish, musty, perhaps a little bigger than your standard English IPA, but still middle of the road.

Deep rich copper coloured body with a thick, dense off-white head and a nice ruby rich coloured tint. Arom a of fresh hops, metal, malt, flowers and pine - strong. Medium-bodied; Strong floral hop flavours with a lot of caramel, some nice malty and pine tastes with a fresh metallic bite. Aftertaste shows a lot of floral and grassy hop characters with some caramel, metal, malt and alcohol tastes - very nice and complex, deep for an IPA and much more malty than most. Overall, a nice take on an IPA showing some strong floral notes and good character. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Brown Jug in Anchorage (Old Seward), Alaska on 18-June-2011 sampled in our cabin in Denali, Alaska on 20-June-2011.

650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and pine with some caramel notes. Taste is a bold citrus and piney hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with nice carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. A good IPA that is worth checking out.
