Another of the treasures of the north I found on my recent Alaska trip. Dark copper with a foamy light beige head. Mildly sweet cereal malts, mineral salts (a bit too salty IMO to really enjoy), some bitterness at the end. A bit thin.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small foamy off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is the best if the 3 beers from them Iíve had. Itís decently citrusy, but also a fair amount of caramel malt sweetness. The flavor is about the same. Thereís a decent amount of hops, but the sweetness from the malt dominates a bit too much, ruining what I look for in the style. Medium bodied and a bit clingy with fizzy soft carbonation. Best of the three Kassikís beers I bought, but itís pretty off the mark for my tastes.

On tap. Pours dark amber with white head. Aroma is of ripe apples, caramel malt and hints of hops. Body is medium and tangy. Citrusy, herbal hops dominate the palate with caramel malt and ripe fruit provide some balance. Long finish is greapfruity. Nice IPA.

Drank from bomber poured into tulip. Aroma - caramelized. Not all that happy or floral. Appearance - dark auburn. Frothy head. Taste - smooth but taste of amber is heavy. Palate - some bitterness. Almost like a weathers candy. Overall - not bad but not great. Decent IP but too much amber flavor.

A bit malt centric for an IPA but clean and really tasty. Might call this more of an amber and I donít mean this as a bad thing. Another tasty IPA from Alaska--the other west coast.
