Cloudy golden wheat colour body with enormous amount of off-white bubbly foam that remains along he sides of the glass. Musty funky yeast aroma. Musty yeast taste, though refreshing and lagerish. Expirey February 2008. Part of my explorations into off-the-beaten -track Belgians, which encompasses a good number of pales.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2007 bottle. What a mistake to follow czar peter with this! It wasn’t very exciting - bubblegum, banana and floral notes throughout. Yeasty. Light. Sweet. Bleh. Should make note, however, that it looked bloody fantastic. Nice cloudy yellow with firm rocky head.

Bottle at the brickstore. A mild muted flavor. Aromas of yeast and slightly buttery. Taste is really carbonated, reminds me a little of an orangina. Slight citrus flavors as well. Hazy golden color with a big white head.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 11.2 oz bottle. Hazy dark golden pour with a soft and sticky white head that leaves a nice coat of lacing. Lemony aroma with some soft yeasty accents. Flavor has a decidely ctrusy bent to it - mostly lemony with some grassy notes. Some cake mix sweetness makes its way into the back end. Spritzy mouthfeel - quite refreshing. Decent little Belgian.

The body is a slightly hazy, pale gold. Nice creamy head that does heavy lacing. Fairly decent aroma, yeasty with cherries and a sharp citrus pang, but the flavor seems somewhat sour and off. At the finish it’s tart and lemony. Odd drink.

Clear golden pour with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is unpleasant with its alcohol and phenols, there’s some citrus also. The flavor is citric and phenolic, not much to like there. The body is light while the carbonation is moderate. Not good.
