Surprised by this one. Pours a yellow golden color with a small white bubbly head. Smells very sweet and slightly fruity. Tastes is champagne like and is very refreshing. A very different belgian.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma of lemon, berries, white wine. Taste is sweet with caramel, berries and grapes, balancing herbal bitterness in a dry finish. A bit odd, but refreshing.

Clear, light yellow, really thick foamy head. Aroma is strawberries and other fruit mixed with a wine funkiness. Taste is tart with some spicy white wine flavors. It is a very strange tasting beer but quite good.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Discreet aroma of pale malt, a yeasty and restrained fruity touch. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character with traces of honey and fruits; sweet and slightly bitter finish. No revelation. 05.VII.11

Bottle from Noel Cuvelier’s, in the attic of the Recour, Poperinge. Bright gold, filmy with the bits in. Lemon curd on crackers aroma with toasty, Asti-like wood and fruit. Lemon sherbet spritz dunked with Crunchie and crackers; dab of butter on clean, white toast malts. Refreshing, delicately lemony, honeyed with a good yeasty sparkle. Very pleasant Belgian sessions.

RollinHard (972) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - OCT 4, 2010
2 year old bottle. Pours gold with a large fizzy white foam. Aroma of chardonnay, wood, toffee, cheap scotch, and apples. Flavor of apples, tequila, wood, apples, and hay. Finishes earthy, again like cheap medicinal scotch. Light bodied, fizzy mouthfeel. Very strange beer with tons of off-fruit and medicinal characters. Pretty bad.
