COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian pale ale.
Kasteel Hoppy is a blond ale of high fermentation, with a bitterness of 45 EBU. Strictly selected, Belgian hops are essential for the hoppy, spicy aroma, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Bottle at home. Clear orange pour, thin white head. Aroma of grainy malts, unfermented sugars and corn juice. Flavor is slightly bitter, sweet cheap malts and a hint of spices. Quite bad.

33cl bottle bb2016. The stale green bitter hops balance out the massive, lean Kasteel base malt and cane sugars, creating a nunc-stans standoff at a certain ABV high-impact, with little tradeoff: condensed grassiness, some orchard fruit, green vegetable jelly, lean neutral mouthfeel. Somehow pointless in its will to compromise.

Bottle 330ml. Clear very light yellow with low off-white head. Aroma of malt, notes of honey, floral, honey date. The taste is as the nose, somewhat Lager-ish, light bitterness and sourness, a bit metallic. Light carbonation, light to medium body.

Quelle infamie !!!

Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. HOppy aroma, grassy and some old notes too. Sweet flavor, some sharp bitter notes in the finish.

Blond beer with a small white head, average carbonation. Smells like hops and fruit. Tastes like belgian yeast, hops and some bitterness. Least tasty kasteelbier.

bottle, at kavarna francis on pilsen square. light golden with a thin, unenthusiastic head; lightly grassy aroma, some resiny hop character but also a bit of dried dog food; dull, aged hop character, modest bitterness, strangely not that enjoyable
