Belgian pale ale.
Kasteel Hoppy is a blond ale of high fermentation, with a bitterness of 45 EBU. Strictly selected, Belgian hops are essential for the hoppy, spicy aroma, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Gedronken in Oud Brabant, pils kleur en helemaal helder, pluspunten, ik had hem hoppig verwacht maar helaas. Nie vies maar ook nie lekker

Bottle from Auchan market Luxembourg City!
Pours clear golden yellow with flat soapy head. Musty malty aroma. Taste is very harsh bitter with lots of hay and musty malt notes. Finish is totally bitter with some acidic notes...

bottle sample, poured a clear yellow golden colour with a medium white head, aroma of crisp malts, citrus, hay, coriander, grass, spicy hops, overcooked vegetables. so weak on the hops as what they are demanding.

Bottle at home. Blond, pours with no head and very little carbonation. Slight aroma of pine resin hop. Sweet start and a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is rich and sticky, flavours of fruit and wine gums. Dry finish. Overall: not bad.

Bottle at home in London - picked up from Beermerchants. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy white head. The nose holds doughy malts, cereal, straw, faint yeast and citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with some grainy pale bread, lemon rind, dirty hay, grass. Medium bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with further grainy bread, hay, rindy lemon, other dried citrus, straw. So so.

Pours a clean translucent gold with a bright white head. Aroma is rubber, plastic, and candy - weird. I really don’t like the taste. Granted I’m primed on West Coast IPAs, but there’s not a lot of "hoppy" going on that I taste. Anyway, cool that Belgian brewers are doing more with hops, but this one is not for me.
