On tap at Duck Island Saloon in Seattle, WA as "Kasteel Rouge"==Sweet delicious dark ruby body that was barely translucent with a filmy minimal head. Sweet, full-on cherry medicinal sugar nose. Almost vinous presence. Malt sweetness pairs with bold fruit element. Great beer. Fruity with out being lame.

11.2oz bottle-pours a foamy pink head and ruby red color. Aroma is tart maraschino cherries in a jar. Taste is tart maraschino cherries in a jar with sugar syrup, medium malt, some bite, some herbal. Interesting cover up of beer. Occasional.

Very enjoyable beer, but make sure to split this with a friend. Strong aroma of tart cherries. Flavor is slightly cherry medicine filled, tart, lightly spiced carbonation. Alcohol pretty well hidden, warming palate.

This had eluded me for 3 years . It lacked the hardcore funk I was expecting. Bit softcore. I do not speak Flemish so did not know that cherry juice was added:.
Purple with pink ass small head..legit cherry smells...legit cherry cherry flavours. Not sour @ all. A nice chick beer sipper though to get you wasted weighing in @ a heafty 8 % .

Deep crimson with a pink head. Very vibrant cherry nose. Full and chewy mouthfeel. Wholesome, earthy and oaky, with lightly toasted caramel notes. Hint of bitterness but the sweetness definitely ruled. Pretty good flavors and aromas but the sweetness was a bit too much for me.

Sampled on draught: Pours a dark ruby red colour with a large pink head. Aroma is sweet like raspberries and strawberry licorice. TASte is sweet, creamy and very fruitforward. Mouthfeel is light, but bubbly with barely any noticeable hop flavor.

A really great fruit beer, amazing color of red wine almost no head, aroma of cherries red wine and flowers, very balance flavor of cherries not to alcoholic not to sweet with very nice hoppiness in there, 8% abv which kicks. Kasteel’s best

Pours a dark ruby red with a thin fizzy pink head. The nose was sweet, lightly tart and medicinal cherries, some vanilla and cherry pit, light earthiness, alcohol. The flavor as sweet, lightly tart and tannic, some alcohol, vanilla, fake flavor. The palate was sweet and warm.
