Bottle at tasting, "thanks" dEnk :) dark red clear pour. Aroma of candy cherries. Flavor of artificial sweetner and fake cherries. Way too sweet and artificial. Is it just me?

Deep red pour with a white head that disappeared rather quickly. Cherry sucrets, cherry pie and cherry kool aid in the aroma. Flavor is very sweet. Reminds me of a black cherry candy. A little tartness helps keep this one balanced. Delicious beer.

Pours a greyish red color that is hazy and has a bubbly pink tinted head. Nose is Luden’s black cherry cough drops, pie cherries, and sugar cookie dough. Taste is ash and cherry cough syrup. Not so much.

Bottle thanks to ilovedarkbeer. Dark murky red pour with a small white head. Aroma of vanilla sugar cookie, dough and cherry medicine (cold eaze), a touch of ash. Sweet, bitter, chemicals and medicinal. Light bubbles.

Reddish pour with slightly pinkish thin head, massive cherry aroma. Ton of sweet cherry flavor (almost syrupy), slightly earthy, with a nice alcohol heat finish. This works very well, but I would prefer a little less sweetness of cherry, and a little more body/ linger on the tongue.

Reddish pour. Nose and taste of sour cherry, syrup and resin. Rated 10/6/03

Red; light pink head. Strong aroma of cherry, cough syrup? Flavor - lots of cherry, a bowl of cherries. Medium body, carbonation. Not bad. For a cherry beer, I would rather it be lighter and with more cherries, or the stronger oaked route. This is sort of stuck in between. A little lacking in drinkability.

Bottle. Deep garnet red body, thin off-white ring of carbonation. Medicinal nose, like a cherry cough syrup with light tartness. Dusty body, slightly tart and woody, medicinal. Earthy, light. Odd, weak, and artificial tasting.
