Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Apr 6, 2008 The Fonefan/Brugmansia Cnudde tasting. Courtesy of Fonefan/Brugmansia. It’s an incredibly nice, dark, red beer with a pink head and a nice aroma of cherries and marzipan. The flavour has sweetness, but also a nice berry acidity that balances the brew nicely. It has notes of cherries, marzipan, almonds and it’s a very nice kriek! beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Apr 1, 2008 Pours dark red, like a dark cherry, pink head. Big cherry taste, dark and sweet, if you are looking for subtlety look the other way, this is rich and sweet. This kinda tastes just like cherry soda, good if you are looking for that, bad if you are looking for any wild yeast or earthy character. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 31, 2008 750 ml corked caged bottle. Pours deep magenta with 1-finger of pink head. Nose is Jolly Ranchery cherry, earthy malt, some cobwebby yeast. Tastes somewhat sweet at first, but gets tarter as it warms up and the palate normalizes, with a natural tasting tart cherry flavor coupled with some earthy and yeasty notes. Solid. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Mar 31, 2008 Red with a small pink head. Strong cherry aroma with some almond. Dry and slightly tart cherry flavour. gotbeach (128), San Diego, California, USA Mar 31, 2008 Pours ruby red with good carbination. Sour cherries, sweet fruits, and very easy to drink.
