A delicious mild tasting fruity beer. Deceptively strong. Thoroughly enjoyable.

fles 33cl Kleur: rood, met een rood-rose schuimkraag, die flink bruist en snel verdwijnt. Geur: overweldigende kersengeur Smaak: Kers, licht-zoetig. Prikkelend van koolzuur. Fris en toch alcoholisch

Bought as Kasteel Rouge. Strong cherry smell! Very dark clear red with very little head. Nice taste of cherry, but luckily not too sweet. A little bit of sour. Light body and lively carbonation. Quite long sour/sweet finish. I am not much of a Kriek fan and the girlfriend didn’t know what she got me, but this is possibly the nicest I’ve had of this sort. One is enough though.

Red - very red, small pink head, slightly sticky lacing, sweet and a slight bit sour, bing or morello cherries - sweet so might be more like bing, very spritzy, medium bodied, long finish of sweet cherry. Very nice.

Bottle pours a clear red with a small pink head. Scent is sweet cherries. Taste is sweet cherries.

Real tasty...fruit beer might be the perfect brunch drink. Great cherry aroma and very smooth, hides the alcohol extremely well. I split a bomber of it, and that’s probably too much for me because it’s sweet, but delicious none the less.

Cask tap at Lucky Baldwin’s in Pasadena. Strong appealing aroma of dark cherry. Taste of cherry and a little alcohol warmth. Very easy drinking. You could drink a lot of this before you know it.

33cl bottle. Pours a dark red with a RED, almost rose small head. Nose : cherry confi strong aromas. Alcohol. Sip : Well carbonated wine like body. Sweet and medium sour. Cherry taste allover. Might be a great accompaniment for wild boar.
