SB (317), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 19, 2008 Pours ruby red with a nice foamy ruby head, that lingered all the way to the end. Aroma of oak and cherry. Flavor of cherries, no doubt with a hint of oak and chocolate. Nice lingering aftertaste of cherry/oak. Nice medium body. Not syrupy at all. Nice beer to drink on a rainy spring night. Smooth mouthfeel. Very nice beer armando629 (956), Budapest, Hungary Mar 18, 2008 Updated: Mar 19, 2008Brutal cherry-beer!Wonderful ruby color with a small pink head. Aroma of cognaccherry-so delisicious! The cherry dominates tha flavour with a hint of dark-chocolate...Like a cognaccherry. Fine, drinkable, complex fruitbeer! This is a new brand in the wide selection of Belgaco-Hungary. Thank you:) esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Mar 16, 2008 At Three cellars tasting. Life is like a bowl of cherries, and you know exactly what you are getting inside when you take a sip of this fruit beer. Cherry from the word go! Cherry in color, cherry in aroma and cherry in taste. I’ll admit I’m not a big fan of cherries but this beer may make me rethink that, it’s that solid. Somewhat tart but overall smooth, I really enjoyed! brewblackhole (1367), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Mar 15, 2008 Hugely sweet cherry aroma, some vanilla coming out,you can tell its going to be hugely cherry sweet tasting.like a Lindemanns, Wow sure enough, sweet as cherry wine, medium carbonation doesn’t have nearly rhe sour barreling taste that other fruit lambics have. this was a great brew to have after 3 pilsners. The sweetness really hits a different spot of the tongue and rejuvenates it. Women who hate beer would really love this. I refuse to dock this simply because its sweet. It is most excellently made hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA Mar 15, 2008 Draft at BadaBoomz in downtown Indianapolis, IN. Small pinkish head, no lacing and a burgunday-dark red hue. Nose was sweet, full of cherries, sour, and tart. Flavor was very sweet, a lot of cherries, sour, and tart. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Quite true to style, but way too sweet and fruity tasting for my liking. Those who enjoy this beer style, will probably enjoy way more than I did. ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Mar 13, 2008 750 ml green corked and caged bottle poured a clear garnet with a lasting pink head. Aromas of sour pie cherries, light vanilla and a hint of spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of sour pie cherries, pie crust and hints of vanilla and spice with a crisp lingering cherry finish. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA Mar 9, 2008 Wow this is a beer.Love the aroma.A sweet nose of cherry koolaid.Pours a wonderful red color with a small head.Flavor was sweet like candy.Tasted like cherry kool aid.A nice sweet finish that left me wanting more.Thanx to ElMatador for sharing. rasears (4), Canada does not count Mar 7, 2008 Dark red, nearly opaque with little head. Relatively sweet, not too tart, and not funky. Some alcohol, and a little astringent. Cough syrup-like, but in the best possible way.
