Life is like a bowl of cherries, and you know exactly what you are getting inside when you take a sip of this fruit beer. Cherry from the word go! Cherry in color, cherry in aroma and cherry in taste. I’ll admit I’m not a big fan of cherries but this beer may make me rethink that, it’s that solid. Somewhat tart but overall smooth, I really enjoyed! brewblackhole (1370), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Hugely sweet cherry aroma, some vanilla coming out,you can tell its going to be hugely cherry sweet tasting.like a Lindemanns, Wow sure enough, sweet as cherry wine, medium carbonation doesn’t have nearly rhe sour barreling taste that other fruit lambics have. this was a great brew to have after 3 pilsners. The sweetness really hits a different spot of the tongue and rejuvenates it. Women who hate beer would really love this. I refuse to dock this simply because its sweet. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Draft at BadaBoomz in downtown Indianapolis, IN. Small pinkish head, no lacing and a burgunday-dark red hue. Nose was sweet, full of cherries, sour, and tart. Flavor was very sweet, a lot of cherries, sour, and tart. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Quite true to style, but way too sweet and fruity tasting for my liking. Those who enjoy this beer style, will probably enjoy way more than I did. ratman197 (3187), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2008 on tap. pours a ruby red with a nice 11/2 finger fluffy red pinkish head. aroma is dark cherries with skins and some Belgian yeast with some chocolate. has a medium body with good lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but more of the Belgian yeast shows thru and is stronger than the aroma. i don’t know about mixing a brown ale with cherries and Belgian yeast but not to bad.
