The aroma is big and borders on just huge with a cloud of sweet cherries that are syrupy and rich and mildly cough syrup like. You can actually smell the cherry fruity flesh. The taste is full of cherry sweetness, mild cherry tartness and then more cherry fruit. Very yummy with just pure fruity satisfaction and no sense of the ABV. Pours dark red colour with a medium pink head. Definitely cherries up front, not too sour though. Did not seem thin and chemically like some fruit beers. Refreshing. I was told to try this by many, and I was very dissapointed. Very dry and bubbly with a pink/white head. The burps didn’t stop until I put the bottle down. Looks like a shirley temple when poured. The cherries were very dominate, got hints of cotton candy as well. A very one-demensional beer, made for those who enjoy cherry flavored sugar water. Next time I’ll use it to feed the hummingbirds. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA

Pours deep burgandy with a limited pink head. The aroma is overwhelmingly dominated by cherry juice, and comes on strong enough that I begin to worry that we’re look at a cherry italian soda here. And at first sip, that’s basically what I get. Huge cherry syrup. Sweet. Sticky.
But underneath all that, there are some interesting things going on. A woody twist. Some metallic bitter finish. Cherry pits and skins. If this was drier, and less overwhelmingly cherry dominated, it might be quite good. As it stands, not really my cup of tea.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2007 This draft brew from a restaurant poured a very small sized head of medium sized clear colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a semi-opaque dark red b;ack colored body and a thin poor oily lacing. The only note in the aroma was a strong cherry one. Overwhelmingly cherry. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of cherry and was way too sweet. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. I could not drink it all as it was way too sweet.
