merlin48 (509), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA Dec 14, 2007 Stubby bottle pours a clear ruby body with a small and fleeting pink head. Aroma is sweet and tart cherries. Taste follows suit with more sweet and tart cherries. Just a hint of malt and hops underneath but no hint of the 8% abv. This one is all about the cherries, not much else. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Dec 12, 2007 Updated: Jan 17, 2009

Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 11, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours a deep red with a nice one finger pink head. Aroma of sweet and tart cherries. Flavor is moderatly sweet with cherries and has a light tartness that is interesting and pleasant. Alcohol well hidden. An excellent fruit beer tomer (365), Rishon Le Zion, Israel Dec 5, 2007 Draught. opaque, dark red purple colour. aroma dominated by ripe sour cherries. The taste continues the strong cherry present with just a touch of alcohol, full and rich body, long sweet and sour finish. The cherry presence makes this beer seem a bit one dimensional, but this probably a classic case of the final impression being more the sum of the parts, making this an excellent beer to linger on. SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Dec 3, 2007 Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting: Poured a red color with a light red head. The aroma is cherry with a hint of dirt. Taste is very cherry and syrup sweet. Its an above average fruit beer. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Dec 3, 2007 Bottle at ultimage glasgow tasting. Aroma is very cherry, noteably fake but still very nice, quite sweet and yeasty with spicey hints. Taste is similar, very drinkable for the %, lacking body somewhat but still a belter of a fruit beer. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Dec 2, 2007 Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting ... No real depth but wonderfull drinkable, while at the same time not a patch on the New Glarus Belgian Red marcus (1826), Sacramento, California, USA Nov 30, 2007 On tap at Luka’s Taproom (Oakland, CA). This red beer poured with a miniscule pink head. There is a very sweet cherry flavor with a slightly harsh finish. Makes a great dessert beer.
