4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 superspak (587) - Michigan, USA - SEP 22, 2011
11.2 ounce bottle into tulip, bottle date: 071016. Pours hazy and cloudy reddish brown color with a small foamy off white head with fair retention that recuces to a thin lacing cap. Aromas of big fresh cherries, and cherry juice; with a bit of tartness and spices in there as well. Aromas are nice and strong, and what I was expecting from the bottle description. Taste of tons of cherries, cherry juice, tartness, cherry skin, and a bit of spices as well. No bitterness noticed; but there is a ton of cherry skin, tartness, and sweet notes lingering on the finish with a bit of spices as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. This drinks very smooth for the alcohol level, but is still quite a sipper due to big flavor and sweetness. No alcohol noticed other than a warming after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian cherry ale in my opinion, tons of flavor.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ekstedt (3624) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2011

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MacMoney (326) - Espoo, FINLAND - AUG 27, 2011
Bottle. Pours a dark red cola with a small, slightly rougeish, off-white head. Aroma is maraschino cherries. Taste is cloyingly maraschinos, tones of candied sugar and a hints of malt near the end. Mouthfeel is sticky.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 b79turner (104) - Alabama, USA - AUG 21, 2011
Bottle poured into tulip glass. This was a real treat. I didn’t expect the HUGE cherry flavor. Pours a dark reddish/brown with a red tinted head, small head diminishes into good lacing around the glass. Nose is cherries! This is more lambic-like than beer. Certainly worth trying and nice to have on occassion.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 MMR (178) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 17, 2011
Pours a dark red color with a reddish foam head. A heavier version of well known Kriek-beers and a good one at that. The cherry aroma is very well presented and you can taste in the distance some nuts. Good kriek.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kronebryg (613) - Sorgenfri, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2011
Btl. 33 cl. nice mahogany colour with a reddish head. Nose with amaretto - very pure as i find nothing else. Nice body and quite long. Taste is fat cherry - not as pure as the nose but with some nuts and a little caramel. Very fine but also heavy and satiating

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2011 Mooi zoet biertje met een mooie volle smaak. Ondanks het hoge alcohol percentage vind ik hem niet tè zwaar.
