pours a black cherry color with a small fizzy pink head. aroma of black cherries. flavor is very sweet as expected from the makers of the sweetest beer of all time! kasteel donker of course. somewhat medicinal finish with a strange hint of raw pumpkin guts. not sour..which i like. but unfortunately too much cherry and too much sweet = too cloying! they should offer this in a smaller bottle.

330ml bottle. Cherries and liquorice aromas. Pours dark red, clear, with vanishing tan head, poor lacing. Light body and high carbonation. Taste is cherry sweet, some caramel and sour hints. Tasty and enjoyable,.

Pours a clear dark red-brown with a quickly disappearing red-tinted head. Aroma of sweet and tart cherries. Flavor of cherries (obviously) and malts, very sugary.

Aroma has some sweet cherries and hints of sugar. Flavour is sweet with cherry juice, some sugar and hints of malt. Way too sweet for me as I expected.

Tap. Deep ruby red with a tan head and nice looking. Aroma smells of cherry cough drops and is too sweet on top of that...turn off there. Flavor is much better with sweet cherriness featured, with a touch of tart cherry. Medium body that's a bit sticky. Meh ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Deep Reddish brown color. Cloudy. Brief reddish tan head. Thick aroma of cherries, like pie filling or cough drops. Same flavors of pie filling and cough drop like cherry. Some carbonation. Very thick and heavy feeling to the palate. Fruity finish of cherries. Not much in the way malts, but could detect wheat and bready accents. Not really a beer I would get again.

Bottled, 0.33l. Clear ruby brown color with small frothy reddish foam and lively carbonation. Strong sour cherry aroma with hints of other fruits and some floral hops. Sweet fruity taste with refreshing mouthfeel. Light alcohol notes are present, too. Very light bitterness noted in the aftertaste. Medium to full body, slick texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Tasty and easy to drink...

330 ml bottle via Belgianshop. Pours a dark red with medium pink head. Great carbonation. Lots of cherries to the nose. Cherry Cola to the taste. Tart. Sweet. 8% Dr Pepper! A style on it’s own.

Deep, dark ruby colour with a thick creamy-brown head. Classic kriek aromas. That scent of mature cherries and cherry brandy to the point of being almost medicinal. Plenty of carbonation and then BAM! cherries, cherry sherbet and cherry tart. This is big, fulsome and lip-smacking beer. Like a kiss from that girl you fancied when you were younger. A real sweety.
