| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Draught (as Kasteel Rouge). Pours profound ruby with pinkish head. The aroma is cherries with only some distant grainy notes. The flavor is cherries, but not overwhelmingly. Nice vinous quality, and gets a slight maltiness in the middle, which reminds me that it is beer. Hints of caramel and chocolate, some muffin tones. Champagne like finish. Prickly mouthfeel.
