33cl bottle. Pours ruby dark red with a thick red/rosée head. Aroma is loaded with cherries and notes of yeast. Taste is again filled with cherries, sugary and a very slight touch of sour / yeast. Thick and creamy, real cherries, the beer is a monster of goodness. Very drinkable for 8%abv.

on tap at Eulogy. Muddy reddish brown with a pink head. Aroma is sweet maraschino(sp?) cherries and little else. Taste is very sweet with a ton of cherry, has a light tartness but it’s still too cloying for my tastebuds...Alcohol very well hidden though.

Sampled on draught: Pours a dark ruby red colour with a large pink head. Aroma is sweet like raspberries and strawberry licorice. TASte is sweet, creamy and very fruitforward. Mouthfeel is light, but bubbly with barely any noticeable hop flavor.

Very sour, very tart. Cherry is restrained, gives a nice, fruity undercurrent to the brew. Considerable malts. Quite nice.

Draught (as Kasteel Rouge). Pours profound ruby with pinkish head. The aroma is cherries with only some distant grainy notes. The flavor is cherries, but not overwhelmingly. Nice vinous quality, and gets a slight maltiness in the middle, which reminds me that it is beer. Hints of caramel and chocolate, some muffin tones. Champagne like finish. Prickly mouthfeel.
