COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kasteel Rouge is a blend of Kasteel Donker and cherry liquor. The mix of these two excellent products creates an exceptional soft beer with references to the dark mother beer.

330 ml bottle. Poors a very dark ruby, like red wine, with small pinkish head. Aroma is cherry, grapes, and alcohol. Taste is obviously dominated by cherries, with a slight bitter ending. Sweet beer, with a little sour twist, light body and some carbonation. Alcohol is well hided by the sugar, so you don’t feel it until the end. Very easy to drink, althought it doesn’t taste, smell nor feel like a beer. I suggest to try it.

Draft at Kulminator, Antwerp. 2013 version. Pours reddish-brown with a pink head. Aroma and taste of sour cherries. Finish is sweet and warm with mild bitterness. Enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

Rating #2146 - 2015.11.02 - Tasting @colordevino_YEG with @49thParallelYEG- Pours a deep ruby Aroma is strong cherry syrup Taste is more of the same, sweet cherry juicyness, light tartness. Palate is heavy with a one note samba of sweet tart cherry booze bombitude.

33cl bottle at home in Amsterdam on 18-Sep-2016. Deep red colour with a frothy reddish white head. Aroma of alcohol and sweet dark fruit. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of cherry and alcohol. Not too sweet, but still the flavour is still a a little artificial. Gets a little too much after half a bottle - better shared.

A strong cherry beer that is not too sweet, just right. A deep red colour and velvet taste.

Ruby color. Med carbonation. Smells like cherries and booze. No hop aroma. Very sweet start. Tart finish. Some caramel malt flavor. Rich. Cherry tartness grounds it, keeps it from being too sweet. Med+ body. Ok in the right circumstances, but there’s no elegance to this cherry bomb.

Red. No head. Smells and tastes like glace cherries, plastic and perfume. Awful.

In Darma Bar in northern Israel. Pour from bottle. A cherry bomb on the nose. Taste is also slightly sour cherry. Can't see myself having more than one at a time, but kinda like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bue 1 an et demi avant DLC en Dorfogne avec JM, Manou et Thomas. Biere rougeatre, brune a tres forte carbo. Pas de col de mousse. Arome cerise tres fort. Enbiuche, cremeuse, sucree. Final cerise, caramel sans amertume. Tres ressembkante a une kriek mais sans l’acidite. Bien aime !
