4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours mahogany-red. Brilliantly clear. Tan 1.5 inch head that quickly dissipates to 1/8 inch. tan. The nose has distinct sweet-cherry notes. Moderate-to-light carbonation. Very modest Belgian lace. Medium-light body. Nicely restrained fruit with bitter notes (hops and cherry pits?). The ABV is not evident on the palate. Well-balanced, delicious ale. Lingers pleasantly. Bitter, palate cleansing notes are evident in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. 8.0%. Best before 14.11.15. Pours a clear, deep and dark red/brown with a diminishing tan head. Distinct but mellow cherry aroma, with a malt note in the background. Sweet cherry flavour with a light malt note in the background. Finish is a tart ch/berry bitterness, with dark fruits and a bit of alcohol. Overall good; all about the cherries, but is well-balanced and doesn’t become cloying. Also, the cherries doesn’t have that artificial feel as it often found in cherry beers. 23.12.14.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From the 330 ml. bottle dated 2013/10/09. Attractive mahogany-red pour with a quick lasting off-white head. Aroma exudes cherry and fruit for the most part but it also brings out a lovely toasted malt note. Unlike other beers of this style that smell too fruity. This one still has a "beer" element. The body is medium. The taste is alive with cherry flavors but at the same time I still get that distant Belgian biscuit malt character. 8%? You’d hardly know it. Booze is buried. If all fruit beers could be like this one I would drink many more fruit beers.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Ruby red color with vast disappearing thin chemical Cherry color head. Smell of Amarena cherries, very attractieve but alsof a bit unreal. Taste of an acid ?kriek? style beer. Geuze/lambic style beer bitterness nut with soms warm beer flavor in the back.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Dark ruby. Head light greyish beige. Nose fresh cherry yoghurt, not much else but a note of malts in the background. Taste is somewhat subtler and darker with some roastiness and moderate bitterness, but still very cherry-dominated, with a hint of alcohol. Body medium, carbonation average, finish somewhat dry. Not a fan of cherry beers, can’t really enjoy it much. But not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a very dark garnet with a light, fine-grained, pink-cream-tan head. Nose is cherry liqueur, caraway rye bread, smoke, and malt. Big burst of cherry and booziness up front, followed by a longer, bitter, roastier, darker tone in the middle; the cherry carries through it, but that bitterness keeps it from being one-dimensional and it stays warm without being overly hot. There’s also skin and tannic elements to it that manage to keep it off the slippery slope of candied over-sweetness. The finish is long, aromatic, and cherry-liqueur-filled chocolate-like. Really, really pleasant.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at City Beer Hall. Flat ruby pour with a nose of cherry cough syrup. Tastes mostly of robitussin, cherry, sage, wood, and marzipan. Could use a bitterness kick to liven it up. Unusual brew.
