Tasting blind from a 33cl bottle. In the aroma alcohol, metal, citrus, hop. You can say it’s an old bottle. The clear yellow beer has a small white head. Some sweet and bitter but also a bit sour. Medium-low carbonated.

Pale golden/ yellow color slightly hazy with a nice creamy medium white head. Aroma is mineral, with a slight touch of banana and flowery hops. Falvor is lemony yeasty phenols with some honey at the end and flowery hops, genlte bitter aftertaste. Medium to light palate, very carbonantated a lit watery though. Nice, quaffable belgian golden ale.

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold with a decent white head. Light fruit and bread aromas, touch of almonds. Taste has a solid Belgian yeast vibe, more bread, light honey sweetness. Not bad.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - orange and peach. Taste - apricots and a light custard note. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a tangy but thin finish. Overall - decent but not as complex as most Belgian beers.

Das Bier ist klar und golden, wenig weißer Schaum. Geruch fruchtig malzig, leicht hefig, würzig. Geschmack süß malzig, Äpfel, leicht alkoholisch.

Bottle. Clear liquid. Body light to medium. Heavy carbonation. Boring. Too carbonated.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2014 The little sister of Kasteelbier Tripel, tasted from tap. Very bright, ’pils’-like golden colour, snow white head. Fruity and sweetish, bit honeyish, otherwise rather one-dimensional. Relatively enjoyable but a bit too close to a plain strong lager to be a good Belgian.

Clear golden color, thin white head. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, malty, hints of fruitiness. Texture is disappointigly watery. Very thin but easy to drink... And that is not what I expect from Belgian strong ale.

Cervesa bastant equilibrada, té un punt massa de gas però no és molest. Cerveza bastante equilibrada, tiene un punto de demasiado gas pero no es molesto.
