Fris, typisch blond aroma. Gelige kleur. Fijn palet, beetje citrus-achtige smaak, die snel weer uit de mond verdwijnt. Geen hoogstaand bier.

Orange glow and sweet grainy. A bit cloying in a little dull and synthetic. The high alcohol is well disguised.

Bottle 33cl. Clear golden color, one finger frothy white head, good retention, creamy layer remains, fair lacing; sweet malty nose, grain, caramel, dough, citrus; rather bland taste, moderate sweet, slightly bitter; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, ’flat’ mouthfeel; bittersweet finish, bit metallic.

Some bar in Rotterdam: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is flowery and pretty yeasty. Taste is slightly sweet. Lightly bitter with some nice mellow hops. Refreshing and fairly uncomplex Belgian. Not bad.

33cl bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma caramel, biscuit, cereal notes, slightly fruity. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, slight salty notes. Medium body, sticky and creamy texture, average carbonation, moderated bitter-sweet finish. Refreshing, and drinkable, but not too exciting.

Countbeer (4035) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Aromas of manure, grains, glue, plastic, cardboard and some malts. Flavours of iron, fruit like apricot, glue, spices, yeast, slight pepper tint, bitters, herbs, grains, old hops, some cardboard and glue that’s also noticeable towards the aftertaste. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, grains, cardboard and glue, some malts and some grains. Low to medium carbo, creamy sparkling mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light watery texture. How strange the flavours and specially aromas may be, it is not a bad beer!

Bottled 330ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, light yeasty spicy nose. Sweetish malty, pleasant but rather ordinary spicy and quite yeasty with touch of alcohol in the finish. Drinkable but average.

Aroma: citrus with almost witbier aromas Taste: light sour, medium bitter Appearance: golden, white head, Palate: oily to sticky Overall: interesting beer that sits between a premium pilsner, witbier and a blond abbey.
