33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 12.03.2011
Aroma has some citrus, apricot and grainy malt. Flavour is slightly sweet with apricot, citron, grainy malt and some grassy notes. Straightforward, feels a bit like lager.

330ml bottle - Clear medium yellow orange colour with an average, frothy white to off-white head, which went pretty quick giving a little lacing. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, roasted notes, light yeasty, syrupy notes. Flavour is moderately sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Compared to the other Kasteel beers I’ve had recently, this was a bit of a let down.

33 cl bottle @ Kulminator Aroma of straw, some grass. Clear blond, white nice head, lovely sparkling, lasting and lacing head. Taste is a little bitter, straw, biscuit, sweet. Dry finish, watery mouthfeel and aftertaste.

330ml bottle, poured into over sized tulip. A: Golden colour, clear, one finger head, faded quickly, some lacing. S: Yeast, esters, fruit. T: Surprisingly thin for a 7% beer, had slight hints of yeast, wheat, fruit, diacetyl, but pretty bland. M: Minimal carbonation, thick body. O: Not great, a lesser version of the standard common Belgian Blonde.

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold with a decent white head. Light fruit and bread aromas, touch of almonds. Taste has a solid Belgian yeast vibe, more bread, light honey sweetness. Not bad.

bottle: this is a nice, simple easy drinking brew, with the sweetness that I enjoy in many belgians.

It poureda hazy golden liquid with a small white foam. It had a weak smell of yeast and honey. Medium carbonation and smoothness. Taste of yeast, honey and malt. Nice.

Poured in to it’s proper glass at the Belgian Bar, so gets a four for appearance. An A typical belgian ale. Lots of sweetness but not a great deal going on. Decent but nothing amazing. Cheers to volcanicbeat for sharing this.
