A good and easy-to-digest blond beer, with low alcohol content. Crystal clear till the last drop. A delicious thirst quencher.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2009 (Bottled) Clear golden with some floating yeast and a medium, lacy head. Pale-malty, acidic aroma with grassy hops. Grassy-hoppy flavor with pear-fruitiness, and some alcohol. Some orangeish character with yeast. Medium body, slightly acidic with medium carbonation. A simple blonde with decent balance, but maybe slightly too alcoholic. (Draught, was 6-3-7-4-14=3.4) Hazy pale blonde color with medium head. Mild, yeasty, slightly sour and hoppy aroma. Slightly spicy, quite fruity, sweetish flavor. Medium-bodied, refreshing and balanced palate. Nice and refreshing blonde that could use more yeastiness.

I had this onces at the Kulminator, antwerp, was a try-out off this beer. Golden yellow colour, little hazy. Some carbonation and a average to large white head. Malty and spicy aroma, medium to full body. Finish is herby, little bitter. Not bad, but misses the finishing touch of the haevier Kasteelbier

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Brilliant clear gold beer with a thick lasting white head. A good looking beer. Very moderate Belgian fruity yeast aroma. Tastes a bit like a lager in the mouth. Nothing wrong with it, but just not a particularly interesting blond. Kind of a sub Duvel. Very drinkable though.

Bottled (from belgianshop.be). Golden colour with creamy white head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and a bit herbal. Flavour is quite grainy, sweet malts as well as some herbs and wooden notes. Quite easy to drink, and pleasant.

Bottle from Wellington Arms, Bedford. Pale gold with a white head. Vinous aroma, suggestive of champagne, with a touch of yeast. Malty taste with a little soap and sweetness. Mid bitter finish. An agreeable lunchtime tipple.

Bottle at The Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgie, 19.03.11 I think it was maybe 8-10 yrs old Pours very hazy amber with a medium white head. There is candy bananas on the nose and in the mouth, age has clearly softened this beer, some digestive biscuit, slight zippy zestiness persists, really quite decent despite the ageing.
