A good and easy-to-digest blond beer, with low alcohol content. Crystal clear till the last drop. A delicious thirst quencher.

33cl Bottle poured into the correct (lovely) glass on a sun terrace of a bar in Valkenburg, Holland, 23 Oct 2012. The bottle had a BBD of Oct 2013. As the name might suggest to you, the beer is golden blonde in colour, on top sat a full white crown of bubbles. Itís glass helps to make it look special in my eyes. The nose is a bit sweeter and grainer than I like: seemed wheaty and sugary even before the first sip and I wasnít looking forward to trying it. Luckily it wasnít as sickly and weak as the aroma first indicated: still had a sweet front, but it calmed down mid-sip and got even a little hop bitter and dry towards the end of each mouth full. Canít say it was great, but it was OK I suppose: not very well balanced, almost dis-jointed in that the flavours didnít blend or mix. Iíll not be having another by choice.

Bottle 330ml. Clear light golden-yellow with small off-white head. Sweetish flavor, very fruity (banana, apricot), yeasty with notes of honey, somewhat milky. Sweet fruity flavor, notes of herbs and honey, quite boozy, spicy with light bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-bodied.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Deep, golden colour with a dense, white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, pale malts, a herbal bitterness, light citrus notes and hay. Taste is light sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying and fruity-bitter with herbal hops and pale malts. Faint alcohol notes. A Belgian Blonde with Pilsener accents.

Heldere gouden kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, zoetig, mout. Smaakt beetje zoet, kruiden. Iets dun. Niets bijzonders.

The little sister of Kasteelbier Tripel, tasted from bottle. Very bright, ípilsí-like golden colour, snow white head. Fruity and sweetish, bit honeyish, otherwise rather one-dimensional. Not impressed.

33cl bottle at home. Clear golden with a medium white soapy head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with some bitter tones. Citrus, peach, hay, flowers and herbs. Somehow too sweet for my taste.
