bomber, just a clear golden triple with a decent head that really doesnt go away, nice lacing. lots of different aromas including fruit, malt, that distinctive belgium yeast and the warm alocohol burn. very smooth for a triple.

On tap. Clear gold color, white head. Sweet malt, banana, fruit, light spice, and some yeast. Eeeehh ... pretty marginal.

Sorry, but it sorta smells like a generic lager... Coors or Budweiser. Clear yellow with lots of carbonation, small head. Spicy flavor does show it’s a tripel, though not one with a lot of character.

Poured a golden yellow with a small white head that lasted for quite a while. Had a strong malty aroma along with a slight alcohol smell. Good spicy flavors with some malts and yeast. Though this is by no means one of the top Tripels, this beer is definitely a good one.

(750ml bottle) nice straw colored hue. refrigerated: While cold, the beer has a tart apple flavor with a slight bitterness at the end. The strong alcohol begins to assert itself to the detriment of the other flavors as the beer warms. Compared to others triples, Kasteel is rather boring.

Aroma of apples and yeast. Pours a brassy gold with no head. Flavor is belgian yeast, apple, some spice and sugar. Mouthfeel has sparkly carbonation. A decent tripel.

Enjoyed from a 11.2oz bottle in a whiskey snifter. The beer pours a straw-colored pale yellow, with a sizable white head. Aromas of yeast derived esters, such as apple, fresh plum, and a touch of malt come through. The beer is spritzy across the mouth, but surprisingly full-bodied, given the constraints of the style. This sample appeared to have been well-aged, as there was more accentuation on the malt than one usually gets in a tripel; along with a complete absence of any alcoholic warmth. Overall, a solid tripel.
