Ok. The nose is very fruity, mostly apple and grape. The brew is golden with a quickly disappearing white head. The taste is different. Sweet with notes of coriander and funk. Not a lot of bitterness. The body is medium with a strange mouthfeel.

Blonde beer, little head. Some citrus in the aroma. Slightly sweet. Hides the alcohol well, I wouldn’t be able to tell this was 11% just by drinking

It looks surprisingly bad, with a vague foggy blonde body and almost no head. The aroma is some citrus and sweetness, cloying malt. Flavour is a strong hop character backed by a lot of sugary adjuncts to jack up the alcohol percentage - but given it’s 11% it’s in fact much more drinkable than one would expect. Extra points for being a drinkable brew, but this is not a great example of a beer of any style.

Dark orange color with a fine white head. Sweet aroma. Taste of candy sugar and spices. Very strong in alcohol, burn all the way down.

My first ever Tripel, poured into a goblet like over-sized wine glass, its a light amber with quite a head on it that soon disappears to a lace. Aroma is quite yeasty, smokey and of alcohol, carbonation is medium with an oily mouth feel. The dryness of the beer hides the giant 11% alcohol volume of this, indeed I got up after a bottle and could certainly feel the effects. A nice beer, going to have to try more tripels though.

bottle. clear golden colour, bubbles, no head. smells of wine-grapa, sour mouth, short finish, light body, oily texture. didn’t like it.

Sample draft. Golden color. Med light sweetness, alcohol taste at end. Peppery and sweet. Belgium candy.
