An unequalled beer, at the top of the Kasteel spectrum. The aroma and flavour of Cuvée are those of a Kasteel Donker, that aged 10 years in the cellars of the castle, noble and strong.

#1365 Ziemlich dunkles Bier ohne echten Schaum, macht nen abgestandenen Eindruck.

Quasi caramellata, in bocca č dolce, a volte stucchevole.

On tap in the Kulminator, which was advertising it a a 10 year old blend. Poured a deep ruby colour with no real head. Aroma of sweet, dark alcoholic fruit. Medium to full bodied, flavour is raisin, caramel and sweet malt. Bitter sweet aftertaste lingers.

0,33 l bottle, Belga Sörök Háza, Budapest.
Poured deep ruby brown with a fine creamy tan head. Fruity aroma with raisins, spicies and chocolate. Typical belgian ale yeast with some champagne character, vanilla and chocolate, cherries, some oak. Good one!

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2013 Bottle at Stubbies in Gainesville. Pours very dark with slight head. Heavy alcohol smell mixed in with plums and raisins. Maybe some pear. Definitely lets you know it is 11%, but this does not overpower the complex prune-chocolate combo. Nice sweetness. Felt it going to my head after just one. A must try for Quad fans. This one should be talked about more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Vintage 2010 bottle. Look: Classic BSDA, Quad color. Dark brown body, beige lacing. Smell: Sweet brown sugar, tamed fruitiness, bread dough, Roasted notes of chocolate. Taste: Sweet, Candy sugar, Roasted malt with chocolate notes, cookie dough, caramel, toffee, Slight died fruits, mellow alcohol. Feel: Full bodied, Chewy, Soft carbonation. Overall: This is a hellava good sipping brew. Winter’s delight. A nice way to end a day after a nice big family dinner. There is only one thing wrong with this brew, 11.2 Fl Oz. I wish I had another bottle. Highly Recommended.
