3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A great beer that pours dark with little head to slow down the drinker. The dark rich flavors of plum and matured cherries come through. Another solid Belgian Ale.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark mahogany slight thin head that lingers around the glass. Aromas of dark cherries, plums, a nice dark red wine, Belgian yeast, a strange cherry coke smell, different but very inviting. Tastes of dark grapes with a nice Belgian yeast flavor. Tangy and a tad sour with a tad of bitterness. A very interesting flavor. Sticky mouthfeel but not too bad. Definitely worth a try. Very interesting.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fruity/forest like smell; no foam; clear cola colour; pretty heavy taste; massive body; sweet malty and bitter. Not drinkable due to 11% alcohol; should drink 1 bottle and enjoy together with garlic sausages.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear brown, small tan head. Thin body for what I expected. Aroma is very fruity, with raspberries and port wine, together with a nutty base, tiny sour note and earthy hops. However, it feels it bit contrived or artificial. Taste is boring light bitter with some sugar in the middle. Feels unfinished. Disappointing. (On tap at Jan Primus)

Bottle 2010 vintage poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of toffee, plum, dates and yeast. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, cola, dark fruit and yeast with a smooth lingering cola finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 750ml (BZ; vintage 2011)
Deep ruby color, small beige head. Aroma has leather, caramel and some fruity notes. Medium-bodied, oily palate. Caramel, raisins, light hoppyness. Lots of alcohol. For being "cuvée" this is quite simple beer. Not bad, but not more than alcoholic dark Belgian ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
75 cl bottle 2010. Auburn colour, thin diminishing head. Aroma is very sweet: dried fruits, strong alcohol. Taste is sweet and portwine-like in the beginning, then evolving into a more bittersweet malt flavour. Rather short and uninteresting finish. Heavy body.
Not bad beer at all. I appreciate the portwine-like flavour, but the finish is disappointing.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 75cl, a dark brown beer with huge head. Nose is spicy with burnt caramel notes. Aroma is very near to the brown one, just slightly more caramelish and less sweet. Body is bitter with over-riped fruit notes, vinous hints too, high carbonation.
