Pours dark brown with a medium sized head. Aroma is sweet and malty, lots of brown sugar, very slight roastiness. Notes of dried fruits, raisins and caramel. Alcohol is very well hidden. Smooth and full mouthfeel.

This was from a 750 ml bottle.Poured a dark amber with a nice tan head.Aromas were of brown sugar, malt molassas. The taste was sweet and almost like some wines with hints of cherry and plum. For some reason I did not think it was that great, maybe a little too sweet.

Pours a four-finger brown head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Mahogany/brown color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Malty nose. Flavor is caramel, dark fruit, sweet. Clean finish. High ABV is hidden. I need more of these to cellar! Bottled Jul 2007, $4.20 for a 330ml bottle from a Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, ME.

Hazy brown pour with a small white head. Yeasty, malty aroma. Flavor is fruity and yeasty: caramel and dark fruit, plums and cane sugar. Lightly spicy. Nice.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a dark ruby colour with a small size head and almost no carbonation. Vague aroma of sweet fruits and raising, needed a few smells to get this out. Taste is more clear, very very sweet taste with fruits and spices, has a bit of taste like gluh wine there too. Nice strong ale.
