Shared this one w/ oldrtybastrd. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a darkish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice and orange. Not my favorite kind of beer.

330 ml bottle. Deep, dark reddish brown; thin light brown head. Sweet aroma of dark fruits. Sweet syrupy-malty flavour with dark fruits, and alcohol warmth in the finish. Overly sweet, but otherwise quite OK.

0.33 l bottle. Dark mahagony color with creamy peige head. Tart fruity and vinous aroma with plenty of raisins, prunes and figs. Sweet syrupy dessert wine like flavor with raisins, prunes, apples, nuts, toffee and chocolate. Full bodied, chewy and very warming palate. Too sweet as such but this is a good dessert with chocolate, cheese or nuts.

Bottle, 330ml. A dark brown colour with a small head. A sweet, malty, fruity aroma. A very malty flavour with dark fruit, cocoa, caramel and a hint of spice. Alcohol fairly evident in the finish. A really tasty brew.

An almost black colored beer, with a small dark beige head, The aroma of soet dark caramel, with datk fruits, something between cherries and prune. The taste of sweet caramel with fruits, bitter, warm and alcoholic. The aftertaste is bittersweet. To sweet for me.

Bottle pours a dark, rich, mohogany color with a thin tan head. Very sweet aroma of dried plums and dates, toffee, and malt. Very sweet flavor as well. The alcohol is fairly noticeable. Nice aftertaste, but a rather syrupy mouthfeel.

750 ML Bottle-cloudy, brownish color w/a decent tan head. Sweet aromas of dark fruit. Malty, dark fruit flavor w/traces of cane sugar & toffee. Figs, brown sugar, plum, had some banana, had some of that "dark funk" going on... in a good way. Easy drinking, plesent brew, alcohol was well hidden-had no idea it was this high. Very enjoyable.
