| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Bottle at St. Veronus. Dark pour into a trappist glass. Nose was acidic, with hints of cardamom, some other spices I couldn’t make out, and heavy amounts of sugar with a touch of alcohol. Taste was sweet. Large amounts of brown sugar, cider, plums and licorice finish. This was a wonderful beer, but a tad too sweet for my liking. Definitely a worthwhile brew. keith0718 (159), Olathe, Kansas, USA

This beer is incredibly sweet. It’s too sweet for my taste. It’s like a dessert beer. KimJohansen (6806), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 19, 2007 From a 33cl brown bottle labeled "Bruin-Brune". Pours a clear dark brown with lots of carbonation but no head. Medium body with big malty presence. Underlying hops bitterness but topped by malty sweetness. Slight raisiny charactger. Late alcohol warming character. A bit carbonated in the bottle. Defreni (999), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Flaske. Ikke så megen duft, men stor smag. Ekstrem sød men ikke hvinende. Derimod en fin balance til den megen alkohol som gør at denne kun detekteres til sidst i en slurk. Yderst delikat. Men dog for en dimensionel til at komme over 4.
