| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2006 In the aroma I miss fruit. The aroma is heavy wich can be normal for heavy beers. The beer is sweet wich is a bit strange for more heavy beers. I prefer dryer beers with more aroma. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 16, 2006 I had to buy a case of this gem... Very sweet subtile aromas, Caramel / toffee... Exploding sweet complexe flavors hard to pinpoint exactly ... There’s the obvious taste of alcohol in this 11% brown beauty but it doesn’t over power... Fanstaticly well balanced beer!
