3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 zaf (156) - ITALY - MAY 18, 2013
eccessivamente dolce..seppur meno dolce della montagnarde e anche di più piacevole bevuta, questa birra risulta comunque di bevuta difficile, appunto per l’eccessiva dolcezza

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 caralkaline87 (433) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Pours dark brown with light brown quick head. Nose is a typical brown belgian; brown sugar, syrup, spice, light hops, and booze. Flavor hits hard on fruit and earthy notes, finishing lighter. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. Finish is sweet and long. Decent ale.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Mr_Vogel (50) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 6, 2013
Some chocolat and coffee going on in this beer, but other than that there is a sugary overkill of sweetness. Very heavy beer plus a sweetness that does not go well with my palate makes this beer a difficult one to digest.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 stevoj (913) - Ramstein-Miesenbach, GERMANY - MAY 1, 2013
A sweet (very sweet) brown ale. aroma is raisins, prunes, cola. Taste is sweet, molasses, dried fruit. Appearance is nothing special, and mouthfeel is a little light but not distracting.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 rosenbergh (4653) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 30, 2013
330 ml bottle. KAD01018A. BB 10/2017. (Alko) Helsinki, Finland.
Dark reddish brown colour with small light brown colour.
Yeast, dark fruits, red fruits, caramel sweetness, marzipan, cherries and malt in the quite delicious aroma.
The flavour is chocolate, dark malt, yeast, cherries, dark fruits and mild hops. This is very warming but the 11% of alcohol is very well hidden. Makes it rich and tasty.
2.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 Hanoi (72) - - APR 29, 2013
UPDATED: APR 30, 2013 Nose is dark fruits, brown sugar, bread yeast and a hint of cloves and peppermint. Taste is terrifyingly sweet, the sugar utterly overwhelms. The taste is very mild, lactose, caramel, raisin, hint of rum, icecream, cola. Mouthfeel is oily.
Overall, the added sugar ruins the beer. It is sweet to the point of comedy. A real shame.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Flocci (33) - BELGIUM - APR 29, 2013
This is a mean, bad-ass SOB. In a good way, I mean.
You smell AND taste chocolate, dry fruit, raisins, toffee. This is SO sweet, kinda syrupy, but it fits. Very warm alcoholic afterfeel. Creamy, smooth, full.
Drink it slowly, drink it wisely, coz it WILL kick you in a place where it hurts.
