Aroma has hints of cereals, honey, fruits and herbal hops. Taste is rich, warm sweet, fruity, slight spicey and has a nice bittering in the end, Hot finale too.

What a glorious surprise. Relatively dry for the style, almost champagne-like, the hops having aged wonderfully, just a hint of sourness. Much better than my memories of it fresh (I didn’t rate that time), I’m surprised at just how much this improved from its time in the cellar. Superb mouthfeel, perfectly carbonated and with the alcohol totally mellowed and integrated. Quinten (959), zaandam, Netherlands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Pours a fizzy light orange with a medium sized egg-white head. Aroma is grassy, of hay, pretty vague. Flavor is nicely fruity; mostly peach/apricot and minor spiciness. Average mouthfeel. The abrupt dry finish is pretty nice. Overall, good to very good. madmitch76 (619), , Essex, England

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 11, 2009 330ml bottle, bb. May 2009, from Systembolaget in Kiruna. Shared with Finn during the great Halloween drinking session at Elsas house in Skibotn – perfect rating conditions. This one poured a hazy, orange coloured body supplied by a fading, white head. Modest aroma of dried fruits. Blended flavour of sweet ripe fruits, including banana and apples. Dry yeasty notes on the swallow. Masked alcohol, but quite heavy to drink, 31.10.2009. glennmastrange (857), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Bottle. Moderate malt notes of light bread and grain, lemon for the hops, leather for the yeast, and a big hit of white wine up front. Head is average size, fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is slightly hazy pale amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively carbonation and finishes a touch dry. A bright and refreshing Abbey Tripel with no bad attributes. Finn (1500), Tromsø, Norway
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Flaske 0,33l fra bestillingsutvalget til Systembolaget. Delt med Rune på Elsas Skibotn 31 Okt 09. Flaske 5 mnd over BB dato. KI=7
