Pours clear golden with a small very white creamy head - low duration. Aroma is pleasantly bready malts, some yeast and lightly vinious. A bit of exotic fruit notes as well. Quite high carbonation, but still quite creamy palate. Super sweetness, and very soft feel. Lots of chewy malts, light fruitiness and well-balanced alcohol. Good yeast tones as well. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA

Mouthfeel is creamy with medium carbonation. Sweet taste with more lemon, banana, yeast, clove and some other spices. Finish is warm but the alcohol doesn’t really stand out like I expected for 11%. Pretty good. note666 (283), Eindhoven, Netherlands

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2008 NEPA case split from Joe L. Dangerous (well hidden alcohol). It seems like an easy sipper with a nice floral aroma with some banana esters up front. (aroma beats flavor as far as fullness) The sip has some light citrus, malt, spices, and syrup. Swirl this one around and the alcoholic burn finally becomes evident. So does the complexity which isn’t obvious on the first sip-the malts become more pronounced, adding an almost woody cork like layer to the beer. It doesn’t seem thich and full for this style but it has a nice medium finish with enough carbonation to maintain an effervescent tone. At first I thought bland but was awakened when I explored it more. But this did not hold up in the long haul. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Very aromatic, sweet smelling grassy aroma, with a fervent yet short-lived head. Flavor is quite pleasant, but a little biting for my taste. Sharp palate, but goes down nicely. Would get this one again. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Draft at The Front Door: Bright gold pour, thick white head, and sticky lacing. Aroma is moist with fruitiness. Lots of citrus and apple. Bits of spice and yeast. Flavor is again fruity. Sort of like a gallon of apple juice was tossed into a barrel... The fruitiness overwhelms the spice and detracts from the overall flavor profile.
