Strong perfumey alcohol aroma, bit of yeast, citrus, salt and peach lay beneath. Soft, delicate remarkably light mouthful. Mild flavour of caramel, salt, some spicy vanilla hops. Finish is a bit more warming and bready sweet. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 13, 2008 A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from the Dovetail. Elena ordered this and after having a sip I looked it up on my phone to see how I had rated it. Amazingly I hadn’t done it so I knicked it off Laney and squeezed one out. (A rate I mean.) Nice clean blonde looks with an excellent white head. You can see it has a thick consistency and it has lots of legs from the alcohol. Looks pretty inviting to be honest. Spicy blonde aroma with nice hops, honey and yeast. You know the drill. It’s exactly the same as hundreds of other strong Belgian blondes. Similarly straight down the line in the flavour but probably a little better than usual. Alcohol is clearly there but not as over the top as you would expect. Nice bread and honey notes. Yeasty, alcoholic finish that is a bit on the sharp side but still enjoyable enough. Acarotibia (57), Santiago de Compostela, Spain

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2008 Not bad for a lighter Belgian Ale. I really want to try the "brown" version as I prefer darker ales. Too much head, and slight alcohol after taste. Smooth for a triple with slight sweet taste at first. Nice, but have had better. gmonroe10 (172), Netherlands
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 9, 2008 Kasteel Triple. Gold with an orange hue, and a large head that quickly dissipates. Strong triple flavor, with hops and too much alcohol flavor, and the peppery aftertaste at first bhensonb (4241), Woodland, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 6, 2008 33cL bottle as Kasteel Triple / 11% / bottled 03/29/07. Aroma is a bit sweet, spice, light fruit and a hint of burnt sugar. Slightly orange gold color with a significant white head. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is slightly petroleum with sweet malt, a little sharp, peppery spice, and finally some yeast. The finish is dry, with some herbal hop notes. The alcohol is ever present, and the flavors are not strong enough to submerge it properly. It’s not burning, just always there. The malt liquor of Belgian ale?
