Clear golden colour, white lasting head. Fruity aroma, a bit spicy. Spicy flavors, but alcohol is very dominant. Bitter aftertase. Strong, but quite enjoyable.

Hazy light golden color..nice head...medium effervescence. Coriander and banana aroma and flavor. Alcohol very well hidden. Somewhat yeasty...a nice Belgian strong ale...enjoyed.

Spicy and yeasty aroma with lots of alcohol sweetness. Clear golden colour, with lots of carbonation. Head is white and lasts surprisingly long for a beer with such a high alcohol contents. Tast corresponds well with the aroma eventhough the alcohol contents is even more dominating. Falls somewhere in between "to much alcohol" and "pretty good"

Slightly hazy golden with white head. Aroma is very tripel... spicy, sweet and vineous. Taste is same... finish is mild, and not particularly dry, alcoholic or yeasty. $8/750ml

NorCal tasting June ’07 - A really nice beer here. I doubt that I could drink many of these with it clocking in at 11% alcohol, but one would do me just fine. Aroma is light apricots and apples with a noticeable alcoholic bite to it. Appearance is hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Flavor is bubblegummy, yeasty, subtley fruity with a hot finish. Not bad. Reminds me of Piraat a bit.

750ml. Nose of yeast roll. Pale golden ale. Sweet, lite bubble gum, yeast flavors w/ a slight burn. Minimal hop bite. Pretty good.

The 11.2 ounce bottle poured a clear, golden yellow colored beverage with a small creamy white head that was completely lasting and left great lacing on the glass. The aroma was sour. It was primarily sour fruit notes but there were also hints of old leather, pepper and coriander. The body was medium-full with a soft carbonation and a smooth creamy texture. The flavor starts out lightly sour on the tip of the tongue then as it matures on the palate it takes on a sweeter character. The finish is long and has a definite alcohol warmth high in the throat.

Draft at the Beer Festival. Poured a hazy yellow color. Aroma is yeasty, malty, and has a very noticable alcohol presence. Flavor is much the same, with a sweetish/alcohol finish. I would suspect that’s not a supprise since it’s 11%.
