| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle: Orangish straw, fairly clear, thin sudsy white head, dies quickly leaving nothing, lacing is non-existant, moderate carbonation.   Soft floral nose, extremely bready, slight alcohol.   Very bready on the tongue, cloves, alcohol if very apparent.   Slightly fruity too.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly moderate.   At 11% ABV, you can feel and taste it on the finish.   Somewhat of a beefy Triple, I wished it to be a bit more floral and less brutish.   Decent, if you like being punched in the stomach.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Bottle. Hazy golden champagneish pour with a very lively bubbly short lasting white head. Fresh aroma of yeast, citrus, alcohol and some clove. Bubbly soft mouthfeel. Sweet yeasty flavour with plenty of alcohol, citrus fruits, some maltiness. Alcoholic soft bitter finish. Tasty brew indeed! The slogan of Miller High Life fits for this beer: "The Champagne of beers". Thanks a bunch for bringing this back from Holland Morty! JoeinUccle (902), Brussels, Belgium
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 25, 2007 Hmm, shouldn’t this actually be categorized as an abbey triple? Anyway: Clear golden color with a foamy white head. Vanilla is strong in aroma and flavor. I didn’t catch much citrus, but sugar and alcohol were both strong and bit out of balance. Mildly dry, but more hops would be nice. If this isn’t a tripel, then it’s a golden barley wine for those who like to taste honey and alcohol. thegreenrooster (1818), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Pour is a pure golden with a large white head. Aroma is lots of vanilla and yeast. Flavor is very bitter with some vanilla and sharp citrus fruits. A bit of smokyness at the end with a even alcohol burn. Prob the best triple of the night in regards to flavor and aroma but the alcohol is powerful. illinismitty (1795), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Draft at Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Crafton, PA. Pours a hazy pale gold with a dense white head. Nice Banana Clove estery aroma. Fine carbonation and faint watery texture. Initial flavor of clove, wheat malt, honey and pear. Dry finish has a sharp alcohol bite, with more clove and some chalkiness. Rubbing alcohol lingers on the palate. As it warms, the alcohol is not as aggressive. Rather disappointing. millysdaddy (67), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2007 750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow with almost no head. Apple, peach, and yeasty aromas. Sweet fruity and malty flavors with lots of carbonation. A good triple. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Pours a clean light yellow orange. Smells pretty sweet, Belgian candy sugar and citrus fruit blended together. The taste is typical of many Belgian triple’s I’ve had. Sweet malts, candy sugar, and sweet fruit all mixed together. 11% is very big for a triple but it seemed masked rather well, as I dont remember it being so strong. Good brew.
