Hazy, golden pour with average white head. Sweet aroma that is filled with spice and yeast — clove, coriander, alcohol and a hint of ripe fruit. And then there is the note of medicine behind all this that also shows up in the flavor which is moderately sweet and slightly bitter at the end. Medium body and somewhat watery texture. The taste and aroma improved dramatically as the temperature rose above 55 degrees.

A golden hazy colored pour with a small thin head. Citrus, spicy, sweet like aroma with a nice sweet malty finish to it. I like this.

Bottle. Poured a orange hue with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Full aroma of sweet fruit and alcohol. Medium body with smooth texture. Full flavor of fruit and spice with a solid alcohol bite at the finish.

0.33l bottle at home. Yellow with almost no head. Some lacing though. Aroma is very light fruity and some spicy hint. Aroma is more intense as beer warmes up-gets more spicy. Quite spicy taste in the beginning and malty at the end. Alcohol is quite present. It is a nice triple.

Wildly fizzing golden trumpet swirling with chunks. Rocky pillows of aromatic foam. A flowery snout, with hints of vanilla, honey and coriander lulling you into a dangerous sense of security. And then the electrodes are attached. A sledgehammer of booze-sodden fruit and cough-medicine strangeness knocks you out of your chair. Your ears catch fire. You cough and struggle at first, but slowly succumb to the narcotic herbal woodiness and odd vinous dryness. A dizzying fog of sweet spiritous fumes encloaks you. You are dead. You have mastered 11% of this adventure. You have been drinking Kasteel blonde 2004.

Best before 10/2006. Cork says 2003. Pours a hazy gold into a tulip. Very little head from an aggressive pour quickly dissipates. Bread, hay and alcohol aromas. Sweet with a slight tart lemon fizz. Lasting sweet raisin finish.

Pours a light pale clear yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma is kinda champagney, sour, alcohol, and peach. Flavor is pretty strong and alcoholish, warming sensation as it goes down, slight caramel, and some sour tartness. Overall, not impressive.
