Flavor issweet and slightly spicy, with citrus and alcohol. Would probaly benefit from some ageing, but as I tried it, it was too unbalenced to be really drinakble DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2005 Bottle from Auchan, Calais. Golden beer, no head. Nice fruity hoppy nose. Some syrupy sweetness is evident. Extremely carbonated and actually quite hard to swallow due to this. Golden syrup flavours in mouth and then some hop on the end which is both herby and sweet tangerine. Just a tad too strong for me. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 6, 2005 This is a very fruity ale, cherries & sweet plums. Clear gold in body, it has an initially foamy white head. Vinuous in its fruity aroma, it carries this into the flavor, adding a light alcohol burn. There’s a bit of hot spicing involved as well, but the ale rests on its sweet malt, a bit of yeastiness, and light fruits. Both the spices and the alcohol surge forward in the finish, but the malt wins out. Definitely repeatable.
