3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 omikr0n (441) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 25, 2012
Bottle at Los v Oslu. Pours golden color with thin, quickly disappearing head. Aroma is malt, wheat, alcohol, fruits. Taste is malt, banana, alcohol, wheat. Alcohol kills it for me, otherwise would be pretty good.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Noctilucus (98) - All over Belgium, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2012
Golden with a hint of amber/bronze and a medium white head.
The nose is pretty strong; malts, a solid dose of hops, something vineous (like a dry white wine) and some sugar.
The taste is very much in line with the aroma, strong yet not too hoppy, quite alcoholic leaving a warm glow - not that surprising considering this is an 11% triple.
The aftertaste is a mix of almost soapy hops and alcohol, though the latter is less present than in the initial taste.
Overall a solid beer, though not too surprising either.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 haugeberg (71) - - AUG 21, 2012
Poured from bottle into Chimay glass. Very sweet and light beer, especially considering the percentage. A very good beer that I will enjoy again.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 kraddel (917) - deurne, BELGIUM - AUG 8, 2012
33 bottle at home. it was almost getting out of date so decided to finaly open this one, with a small heart. and right i was. traumatized of the overpowered weetness of the blonde version last year, i was right with my thoughts. pure sweetness, in a bad way.. one sip, drained it. i can imagine old folks enjoy this but im guessing this beer will be dead within 10-20 years. just dont see an audience, can’t imagine anyone with there own teeth still in there mouth enjoying this. no offence if you do, but i realy dont like this one..

11.2oz bottle from Country Club Liquors. Nose is yeast, candisugar, floral, and spices. Slightly hazed yellow with a big barely yellow tinged head. Flavor is lightly sweet candisugar, spicy, and a touch of alcohol.

Sampled on tap at PIB, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, and paint thinner somehow. Flavour of dry malt, yeast, not much else. Pretty dry and simple tripel, just how I like it, but missing that extra oomph to make it fully fulfilling.
