| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Draught at TND: Faint aroma of yeast and lemon. Poured gold/yellow in color with a small, rocky, white head that lasted throughout. Sparkling. Clear. Flavor is slightly bitter. Tastes of yeast and pale malts. Light to medium body. Slightly thin texture. Average carbonation. Yeasty finish. 11%ABV is totally hidden. Allen (1338), Switzerland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Bottled 33cl. Appearance: It pours hazy yellow beer with a small head. Some nice lacework. Aroma: Very dissapointing with hints of cork, apples, glue, overripe banana, manure, alcohol, plastic, chestnuts and metal. Flavor and palate: Superior to the nose. Some hop detectable. Easy drinkable. A lot more tripel characteristics. Full bodied. Low bitterness. A lot of overripe banana showing up again. Nice finish with a lot of coriander showing up suddenly. Overall impression: The flavor is a lot better than the aroma. Interesting. But I didn’t like this beer all that much. Overwhelming alcohol, rather poor and with too much overripe banana reminiscence. HolidayBeerGuy (50), Detroit, Michigan, USA

Hazy orange with a large white head, fine lacings. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, citrus, cloves, coriander), light hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, dry. Full body, you feel the alcohol even if it’s well hidden. mike1977ok (637), Netherlands

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Large Liter Bottle: Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a very thin head that dissipates quickly. Sugars and citrus fruits dominate the nose. Initial impression is of sweet apricots with a smooth bourbon-like hint of that 11% ABV. It finishes slightly sweet with a semi-dry honey aftertaste. This was a very good beer. In my excitement, I poured in some of the sediment as I finished off the bottle. This will become one of my go-to beers for a cold winter’s night after a good day of skiing! sirpsycho (343), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA
