Golden, orangy hue with a creamy white head. Lovely orange and yeasty nose, evident high carbonation. Taste follows the nose, delightful. Slightly sweet with orange, pear and yeast. Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Frothy and light looking blonde beer with a very fruity, malty and alcoholic aroma. A sweet tasting and fairly strong beer. Overall the beer flows well, a good brew.

I decided to give this one a try but I was unhappy. I like the lambic style Belgium beers much more than this one. It sure gets your head fuzzy at 11% alcohol is about the best I can say for this one.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Beer pours (in Kasteel glass) a light, cloudy orange-golden with 1/2 inch virgin white fluffy head that lingers. Aroma is of wheat bread, straw, vegetal. Flavor is a strong alcohol with straw. Nothing exceptional about this beer. Sampled at 71 degrees Fahrenheit.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2003 Aroma is mostly alcohol. Appearance is murky yellow. Flavor is crisp with a slight wheat and tart fruit flavor and fairly uninteresting. This is a Unibroue anniversary clone IMO. Alcohol is hidden fairly well. I am thus far not into these Belgian Blonde beers. To each his/her own.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light golden color makes you underestimate this beer. The full aroma and taste of spicey oranges. Interesting, different, and good. with an odd aftertaste though.

Alcohol was masked terribly. Unfortunately the flavor was masked fairly well. This is a bland over priced import. The bottle was beautiful, but the taste left much to be desired.

A lot of flavour in this one! Yeast, band aid. A palate like real English cider.

This one has very rich and nice aroma that is very spicy and loaded with oranges. The taste was to much to handle though with way to much alkohol and spices that masked the rest of the Palate.
