Brewery Glassware on Tap (Sharp Edge, Pgh) Clingy white head, on top of a straw/gold clear pour. Aroma of light hop, some yeast, hidden alcohol. Flavor of banana, tropical fruits, boozy, with a warm carbonated bite on the palate. Warmth remains long after, nice tripel.

Bottle (in NZ). Golden with a large foamy white head. Sweet yeast aroma, juicy ancd fruity with a peppery bite. In the mouth, it is the alcohol first, and then sugary sweetness. There is a hint of sour fruit and then the alcohol takes over again in the finish. Another that is too much about the alcohol without providing much in terms of palate and flavour.

Sampled from a 750 ml bottle. I had no desire to drink all of this, but figured I had to taste it and rate it. Poured a dark honey golden hue with lots of floaties and minimal white head, well carbonated brew. Aromas are a little winey up front, moving quickly to belgian yeasty sweetness, fruity and spicy all at the same time, moderate amount. Taste is lacking, but ok. Similar to a typical belgian golden brew, decent mouthfeel, a little too sweet, and overall, an ok experience. Fruity sweetness including some musty apple, pear, and light spice. Decent.

Deep gold pour with a thick, fluffy white head. Yeasty, bread-like aroma. Malty sweetness with a light fruity character, maybe apple or pear notes. Lightly bittersweet finish. Very good.

Very dark brown body with tan head. Smell of very sweet malts, fermenting raisins and prunes. Taste is full of raisin, fig, and candied surgar, all a bit too sweet in my opinion. A hint of spices as well. Bubbly on the palate, medium fill. I could drink this again for sure, but it will never quite be a favorite.

750 ml corked and caged green bottle poured a clear golden yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, yeast, pear, pineapple and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, yeast, pear, pineapple and spice with a crisp lingering spicey sweet finish.
