Deep gold in color witha foamy white head. Fruity aroma, perhaps sour and tart. Full and organic taste, a hint of citrus and some other fruit. Not exceptionally crisp. Definitely strong, though the alcohol is masked well. A nice Triple. Will put you to bed early...

Shared this one w/ oldrtybastrd. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, citrus.

Clear golden with well lacing white head. Spicy, almost peppery aroma with wheat and coriander. The initial flavor is sweet malty with sugar candy feel. Very chewing peppery, hoppy mouthfeel with heavy dry finish. Nice Tripel, but not significant.

Bottle. Poured clear golden with a huge white, foamy head that leaves lacing. Spicy, coriander aromna with some fruit notes. The only thing I don’t like about this beer is the heavy alcohol flavor.

75 cL bottle. Straw color. This is labeled a tripel but doesn’t have that candi sugar flavor that most do. It was a bit dry and citrusy with a sake-like flavor. Nice beer.

I decided to give this one a try but I was unhappy. I like the lambic style Belgium beers much more than this one. It sure gets your head fuzzy at 11% alcohol is about the best I can say for this one.
